About Us

Art Gagnon III, owner and craftsman of Vermont Wood Designs, has been building fine, unique furniture since 1993 when he began working with Will Brooks of Vermont Country Furniture.

In 2001, Art lended his expertise to working with other Vermont craftsmen, including Clearlake Furniture, in building fine furniture. After 13 years of woodworking, he decided it was time to begin working directly one on one with clients to build a perfect piece of furniture. Art opened his own workshop in North Springfield, Vermont.
